Privacy policy

Last updated: 10/29/2026

Velator Performance Systems LLC (“Velator,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit velator.com or buy from us, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.

1. Who we are

Velator Performance Systems LLC is the company responsible for your personal information. We sell to customers in the United States. If you have questions about this policy, see section 14.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run our store, deliver your orders and improve Velator. In the last 12 months, we have collected the following categories:

Category Examples Where it comes from
Identifiers Name, email address, phone number, shipping and billing address, IP address, account and order numbers You, and your device when you visit
Payment information Card or wallet details used at checkout You, processed directly by our payment providers. We never see or store your full card number.
Purchase history Products bought, subscription interval, order and refund history Your orders
Website activity Pages viewed, links clicked, referring site, device and browser type, cart activity Cookies, pixels and similar technologies
Approximate location City or region estimated from your IP address Your device
Feedback Survey answers (such as where you heard about us and which platform you ride on), reviews, photos you submit, messages to support You

We don't ask for sensitive personal information such as health information. The only sensitive personal information we handle is your account login and the payment details our payment providers process, and we use them only to provide your account and process your orders, never to infer characteristics about you. If you choose to share health information with us, for example in a support message or chat, we use it only to respond to you.

3. How we use your information

  • Process orders, payments, shipping, returns and refunds.
  • Manage subscriptions, including renewal charges and the reminders we're required to send.
  • Answer questions and provide customer support.
  • Send order and shipping updates.
  • Send marketing emails or texts when you've agreed to receive them.
  • Measure and improve our website, products and advertising.
  • Show you relevant Velator ads on other sites and apps.
  • Prevent fraud, protect our business and comply with the law.

4. How we share your information

We share personal information only with companies that help us run Velator, and only for the purposes above:

  • Our e-commerce platform and checkout provider (Shopify).
  • Payment providers, including Shop Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
  • Our fulfillment partner and shipping carriers, to deliver your orders.
  • Our subscription management provider.
  • Our email and text message provider.
  • Our review and post-purchase survey providers.
  • Analytics providers, such as Google Analytics.
  • Advertising partners, such as Meta and Google.
  • Professional advisers, and authorities when the law requires it.
  • A buyer or successor if our business is sold or merged.

We do not sell your personal information for money. When we let advertising partners use cookies or pixels on our site to show you Velator ads elsewhere, some state laws, including California's, call that a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. You can opt out at any time; see section 8.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies, pixels and similar technologies to keep the site working (such as your cart), to understand how it's used, and to measure and personalize our advertising. You can choose which non-essential cookies we use through the cookie banner, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site, like checkout, from working. We treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal from your browser as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information.

6. Email and text messages

  • Email. If you sign up for emails, we’ll send you launch news, product updates and offers. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
  • Our text program. Velator Performance Systems LLC sends text messages (SMS and MMS) from our toll-free number, (866) 963-2890. Messages are sent from and on behalf of Velator, through your wireless provider, to the mobile number you give us.
  • Who can join. You must be at least 18, live in the United States, and be the account holder of the mobile number or have the account holder’s permission to enroll it.
  • Your consent. By opting in, you agree to receive recurring text messages from Velator at the number you provided, even if that number is on a state or federal Do Not Call list. Messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system or other technology. Consent is not a condition of any purchase, and joining is voluntary.
  • Types of messages. Service messages: updates and alerts about your orders, subscription and account, such as order and shipping updates. Promotional messages: product news, offers and other marketing, including reminders about items left in your cart.
  • Frequency and cost. Message frequency varies. Velator doesn’t charge for texts, but message and data rates may apply. You’re responsible for any charges from your wireless provider.
  • How to opt out. You can stop texts at any time:

Reply STOP to (866) 963-2890. We also honor QUIT, END, REVOKE, OPT OUT, CANCEL and UNSUBSCRIBE, and any reply that clearly asks us to stop.
Click the unsubscribe link, if included.
Email support@velator.com.

We’ll send one text confirming your opt-out, and then no more texts unless you opt in again. Opting out stops all Velator texts, both service and promotional. It doesn’t unsubscribe you from email.

  • Help. Reply HELP to (866) 963-2890 or email support@velator.com.
  • Your mobile number. Please give us a valid number you own or are authorized to use. If you change or give up your number, reply STOP from it first, or email us, so the new owner doesn’t receive your messages. To get texts on a new number, sign up again with that number. If we ever change our sending number, we’ll let you know. Messages sent to a number we no longer use may not be received.
  • Cart reminders. Our website uses cookies to keep track of the items in your cart, including when you leave without checking out. If you’ve opted in to texts, we use this to decide when to send a cart reminder.
  • How we handle your text-message information. We share your text-message opt-in and consent status only with the service providers that run our text program, such as our messaging platform and wireless carriers, and only to deliver it. We will not share your text-message opt-in or consent status with any third party, including advertising partners, for their marketing or any purpose unrelated to our text program. The sharing described in sections 4 and 8 does not include this information. Text messaging isn’t a secure channel, so please don’t text us payment details, passwords or personal health information.
  • Delivery and liability. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. To the extent permitted by law, Velator is not liable for failed, delayed or misdirected messages, errors in any message, or any action you take or don’t take based on a message.

7. Your privacy rights

Depending on the state you live in, including California, you may have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we hold about you and how we use and share it.
  • Get a copy of your personal information.
  • Correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Delete your personal information.
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, including for targeted advertising.
  • Not be treated differently, such as being charged a different price, for exercising these rights.

We extend these rights to all of our U.S. customers, wherever you live.

8. Your choices: Do Not Sell or Share

To opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, use the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link at the bottom of every page, adjust your cookie banner settings, or turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser. You can also email support@velator.com with the subject line “Privacy request.”

9. How to make a privacy request

Email support@velator.com with the subject line “Privacy request,” and tell us which right you want to use. To protect your information, we'll verify your identity by matching details you give us with what we have on file, usually your email address and a recent order number. You can let an authorized agent make a request for you; we may ask for proof that you gave them permission. We'll respond within 45 days. If we deny your request, you can appeal by replying to our response, and we'll answer the appeal within 45 days.

10. How long we keep your information

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy. Order and payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting laws require, generally seven years. Account and subscription information is kept while your account is active. Marketing information is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Website activity data is kept for up to 26 months.

11. Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, and payments are processed by providers that meet payment card industry security standards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

12. Children

Velator and velator.com are intended for adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, and we don't sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email support@velator.com and we'll delete it.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed. If we make significant changes, we'll let you know by email or with a notice on our website.
